Bennie D. Waller

Professor of Finance and Real Estate

Dr. Waller is an expert in real estate and finance and is chair of the Department of Accounting, Economics, Finance and Real Estate at Longwood University. His research is focused in the area of principal-agent and housing externality issues surrounding residential real estate and the use of automated valuation models for valuing real estate.

A published author and frequent source for top media outlets, Waller is recognized around the country as an expert in real estate brokerage and financial literacy.

Waller holds Ph.D.s from the University of Mississippi in finance and in management information systems, and joined the Longwood University faculty in 2003.

He is the co-author of two textbooks titled Real Estate Finance and Investment Decisions in Real Estate.
